Okay.. history lesson over. What I've included here for this blog is a list of eight "life lessons" learned from Dr. Seuss. What you'll need to do for this week's blog is take one of the life lessons, read the interpretation of it provided, and then relate it in some way to your own life, your goals for the future (maybe relate it to a New Year's resolution, if you made one) and describe why this particular life lesson is meaningful to you. I need at least 300 words for this one and you have to be careful with spelling, grammar, punctuation, and paragraphing. As always, please be sure to sign your blog. This is due Friday, January 11, 2013 no later than 3PM. I won't even be looking at these until after the break, but anyone who wants to write it early should feel free to do so.
8 Must Read Success Lessons from Dr. Seuss:
1. Be Who You Are
“Be
who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and
those who matter don’t mind.”
If
you can’t be yourself with your friends, then they’re not your friends, or at
least they’re not very good ones. The sign that someone is a good friend
is how comfortable you are with them. If you can be who you are, and say
how you feel, then hang with those folks, they’ll surely keep it “real.”
2. Trouble Your Troubles
“I
have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and
some come from behind. But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see. Now my
troubles are going to have troubles with me!”
When
troubles show up, you have to show up bigger. Don’t let troubles trouble
you; you trouble your troubles by showing up with a “big bat!” But not
literally…. You show up with a “big bat” by showing up with big courage,
big faith, and big determination, if you do, you will trouble your troubles….
3. You Decide
“You
have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself
in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you
know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”
How
simple, yet how profound! You decide where you go, only you. You
are only limited by your ability to believe in the impossible.
4. It’s Up To You
“Unless
someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s
not.”
No
one is going to rescue you, they’re not. You have to dig yourself out of
the ditch. You have to care enough; you have to be motivated enough, to
change things. It’s up to you.
Things
only change, when someone cares an awful lot.
5. Think
“You
can get help from teachers, but you are going to have to learn a lot by
yourself, sitting alone in a room.”
My
greatest discoveries have come from sitting alone in a quiet room. Dr.
Suess said, “Think left, and think right, and think low, and think high. Oh,
the things you can think up, if only you try!” What can you think
up? Just try.
6. The More You Know
“The
more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn the more places you’ll go.”
The more that you learn the more places you’ll go.”
7. Your Mountain Is Waiting
“Today
is your day! Your mountain is waiting.
So…
get on your way.”
Everyday
you’re presented with a mountain. You can climb the mountain, or you can
play in the valley. If you climb more than you play, you will truly be on
your way.
8. You Are You
“Today
you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than
You.”
No
one can be you, youer than you! That’s good news all by itself….
Good Luck!
Ms. Mott
I forgot to mention it, but I'm really pleased with the way most of you have stepped up and started writing now. Your writing is improving and so are your grades. Have fun with these assignments, I never try to make them require more than about a half hour of your time and with a little practice, you can do them even faster than that! Have a terrific break; I look forward to reading you in the new year!
ReplyDeleteMs. Mott
Dr. Seuss once said “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the important life lessons that Dr. Seuss can teach us. You could interpret this quote in many different ways. I interpret it to mean that once you realize that you are the only person who can truly help yourself. Until you realize this then you nothing is going to get better. The only possible help that you could get is from those very few who you can truly trust and are close to.
I have learned from personal experiences in my past that I can’t rely on many people for things. If I need something in life then I am going to have to figure things out for myself. If something in life is really bad then you can always go to the people you trust the most or who is qualified to help you depending on what it is. Some people depend on others way too much. If they would learn that if you focus on yourself more then you could get a lot more accomplished and things would get better.
As the New Year quickly approaches, I plan to become a little more independent about things. I know that I am still only a kid but as life progresses my parents won’t always be around to hold my hand. I need to grow up and become more self-reliant soon because college is quickly coming. I have to face the facts that if I don’t start to care more about myself and where my life is going then my life isn’t going to be where I want it to end up.
The moral of this quote is care! Care what is happening in your life and care enough to change it if you don’t like it! Face it that you won’t always have people around you that will care enough to help you when you need it!

DeleteRaven, I do have to say that reading this has surprised me a little. I didn’t expect what I read. I agree with what you say and understand it. You did a really good job interperatating what it means to you and explaining it. I like your goal as well; I believe if more people thought like that we’d all do well and make everything a little bit easier for ourselves and each other. Unfortunately many of us depend on other people a little too much and don’t think on how it affects them. But it seems that you have your stuff figured out and are doing a really good job taking care of yourself and being independent.

I have chosen quote number four which is, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” This can be interpreted in many ways. I have my own interpretation which is that things are not going to change at all if you don’t care as much as the other person. If you would want change then you have to be motivated, determined and care enough to make a change to whatever you may be changing. The only way to make a change is if you care about it enough.
ReplyDeleteThis quote can relate to my life in a couple ways. The most direct relation is with my wrestling. I want to get better at wrestling. So, because of this I will have to change. I will have to work harder and take up more time to dedicate myself to wrestling. This won’t be possible to do however if no one supports me on my decision. My biggest supporter would be my coach. He will have to work harder as a coach to help me get better. I will also needs my parents support. This will help me to accomplish more and they will keep me focused on my goals. My parents will also help me keep other important things in line too such as my schoolwork.
This quote and life lesson is meaningful to me in several ways. One way is that if I accomplish my goal than it will make me feel very good about myself. I will be able to look back and realize that I made the right decision and worked my hardest. If I’m the only one that cares about getting better than nothing will change. I need support and help along the way. If you are the only one that cares a lot and no one else does, then nothing will get better or change. If you’re the only one that cares then there is no point of attempting in whatever it may be you are doing.

ReplyDeleteI have chosen quote number one, “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” This quote by Dr. Seuss is related to my life and how I carry myself. In this quote Dr. Seuss states that, do and be whatever you want to because not what everyone says or thinks matters.
ReplyDeleteI relate to this in many ways. For example I do not give in to what people say, if don’t want to do something I won’t and I don’t care what people think. Also in sports, as I was growing up I did not know what my favorite sport or which sports I wanted to play. When I was around ten my uncle wanted me to start doing pee wee wrestling and I did not have much interest in the sport. He tried to convince me with all the good things about the sport. I ended up choosing to play basketball which is now my favorite sport. My uncle was mad at me for a while for choosing basketball but I did not care I did what I had more of an interest and was better at. Although he was mad then he now does not care and thinks I made the right decision.
This quote also relates to how I dress. Some people may say I dress preppy and others may not like that look. If people make a comment on what I am wearing it really does not bother me because those who matter don’t mind. Some people dress and do things different than others, but what other people think doesn't matter, what matters is what yourself thinks. That is what Dr Seuss’s Quote “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind” means to me.
~Matt Mills
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” I decided to do this quote for many reasons.
ReplyDeleteOne reason I chose this quote is because I actually understand the meaning of it. Only you can make the decisions in your life, nobody else. I make my own decision in my life. I could really care less of what my friends think. Or what anyone thinks. Its my life, I should be able to live it the way I want it to be. One thing that may affect you and your decisions in life is peer-pressure. There are way to many victims of this. If someone asks you to do something you have the option of saying no. Now when your friends start pressuring you into and you cave in and do it, then you have let others control or live for you.
Many people let others decide what they want to do in life. For example, I see this happen a lot in our school. An example would be with the BOCES program. Many people are in a certain program mainly because there friends are in it or because they want to get out of school earlier. You should do what you want to do and what your heart tells you to do, not what your friends do.
I really actually understood this quote. I am not very good with them butt he quote by Dr. Seuss “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go” is one that I actually understood.

Scott I like how you say that you can steer yourself in any direction. To me this means that we don't have to be in the same path we can take other paths .

The life lesson I chose was “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” by Dr. Seuss. The interruption of this quote was “You decide where you go, only you. You are only limited by your ability to believe in the impossible.” I chose this lesson because it can be easily related with my life choice and my future goal.
ReplyDeleteA life choice I’ve made and a future goal that can be related to this quote is my choice to go to BOCES for nursing. I say this because of the reactions of people when I saw I want to be a nurse. Even though some people probably wouldn’t trust me at being their nurse it doesn’t affect my choice of doing it. I would learn the correct way to do things and I wouldn’t be able to get certified if I didn’t do a needed ability correctly. I believe in myself that I can do everything correctly and I take my time learning every skill I’ll need to know. If I let others opinions about me being a nurse to get to me I probably wouldn’t get too far.
The quote I chose was “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” by Dr. Seuss. I applied this to my life choices and future goal of becoming a nurse. I did this because I wanted to show that only you can truly choose what you want to do in life, no one else is able to do it for you.

Jen,
DeleteYou did a great job on your blog this week. You explained quote well and provided examples of how the quote applied to your life. I understand what you are saying when you talk about how people react when they find out you go to BOCES to be a nurse. I like when you said “you can truly choose what you want to do in life- no one else is able to do it for you.” Great job!!!
~Rachel Grausgruber
The quote that I choose was you have brains in your head. "You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” By Dr. Seuss. I think this quote means that only you can decide what you are going to do with yourself and no one else can decide for you. This relates to my life because everyone wants me to do something that they want to do. This also relates to me because everyone expects me to be someone I’m not. They sometimes even compare me to people that I should be like. Also no can control you and only you are in control of your action and nobody else is.
ReplyDeleteThe quote “Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting So… get on your way.”Everyday you’re presented with a mountain. You can climb the mountain, or you can play in the valley. If you climb more than you play, you will truly be on your way. This is a great quote for working out and it can be used for motivation to just try harder. To me the quote means that the harder you work the more progress you make and if your not working hard then you’ll never get any wares. If your goal is to be a bodybuilder then you have to give it 100% at every thing your training all day with no breaks . You have to give it 100% in your diet 100% in your lifting 100% in your cardio and after a wile that gets really hard. But if you want to get to the top you have to climb up the mountain because if you don’t give it 100% you will just be stuck in the valley. This takes years to do its not an over night process or a few months it takes years and its more of a mental sport than a physical sport because if your mind cant take it than you loose the fight even if your body wants to keep going. Two years ago I tore my shoulder and needed surgery I got it fixed and it retore so I had another surgery iv spent the past to years of my life trying to get back to ware I was working as hard as I can but I still cant play sports and do things I could before but I am working harder now than ever to get back to ware I was before I would say im about thee quarters of the way up the mountain but iv still got a ways to go. Cole Griswold
ReplyDeleteCole, I think what you wrote about was very good. You really understands what it take to reach your goals and keep them. You really care a lot about lifting and your health becasue that is all you talk about.

This was a very clever post, and well thought out. I dont know what its like to work out (lol) and never will, but im sure that it is a mountain to haul up and is a challenge, but this was well thought out. Kudos

Dr. Seuss once said “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
ReplyDeleteThis quote reminds me of something that I did when I was younger. Austin Decker and I took my go cart out and rode it around my house and he flipped it. It started leaking oil. I he wasn’t hurt so we flipped it back over and there was a little damage to the go cart. It was still drive able. There were a couple of dents and paint scrapes on the roll cage. I got rid of the go cart a while ago. I think it’s been a year since I got rid of it.
My goal is to get a four wheeler because I can ride in the trails behind my house. I can ride up the pipeline and go for a ride and try not to get caught by the people that own the land. I can also plow snow with it in the winter time. I hate going out and shoveling when the snow is so heavy. If it’s light snow I don’t mind shoveling. Sometimes my uncle comes and plows our driveway. We have used a snow blower before but when it gets too cold then it won’t start. Some of them you have to plug in to an outlet so that way you can start it a lot easier. Sometimes the snow blower will plug up and you have to tilt it upwards and get the snow out or you have to use a stick to get the snow out so that way you can use it again. You should make sure it has enough fuel in it so that way if it dies on you then you have to drag it all the way back to your garage to put more fuel in it. If you put enough in then you won’t have to drag it back.

Dr. Seuss once said “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” This quote relates to my life in many different ways because I am who I am and I say what I want.
ReplyDeleteThis quote by Dr. Seuss makes me think of how I don’t care what people say or I don’t care what people think of me. In sports I play I try to be the best I am and I try to do the most I can but when I have people talk about how I play or what I do I try to fix it but then if they say I do it wrong over and over again I think there just doing it to get on my back. Those who mind don’t matter are these people I try to be the best I can in any sport and those who matter don’t mind tell me good job cheer me up know Im working hard and doing my best. For example football is my favorite sport loved it since I was little but when people bash on how I block and say I suck those are the people that don’t matter to me I ignore them because I am myself. Same thing in basketball people help me out all the time but I can tell if your helping me or bashing on my performance everybody messes up in a game not just one person.
The quote by Dr. Seuss said “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” This quote relates to much more than just sports in my life but sports is a big part of me I would say that sports are my life.
Shawn, every person will make mistakes it's the athletes that choose to correct or fix it will succeed. If you put you mind to anything you will achieve it throughout hard work and dedication. You can just about do any task if you are willing to do it. No one said it would be easy. If it was easy every one would be doing sports.
DeleteDan Babcock
The quote I have chosen is a quote I relate to in everyday life. I will enjoy doing this blog because I will get to write and talk about what I enjoy witch is football. The quote I will be using is “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” This great quote is by a great wise man named Muhammad Ali he was know to be the greatest boxer ever. He is a great influence to a lot of people because when he first started getting into boxing everybody thought he was cocky and to loud it was all about him, but they had it all wrong he was totally opposite he was confident he would tell the reporter in a rap rhythm way what round he was gonna knock the opponent out in.. That is pure greatness to be able to tell somebody not only am I gonna be able to beat you but I am going to tell you what round Im gonna knock you out in. Anyway what does this quote mean to mean it means that when someone tells you that you can’t make it they are saying it because that is the way history was wrote. When somebody tells you it is impossible you have to look at them and say the recorded book was written someway shape or form. Recorders where mad to be broken, you know I gonna go head and mention it in this little town we call deposit everybody thinks “oh we are a small school we are to little know coaches are gonna come out here and look at our players and see talents”. That really aggravates me this blog is well over 300 words so Im gonna stop but just do research there are so many colleges that when you fill out online surveys you will have coaches asking for your highlights tape. This quote to me helps me out I have it printed out and on my wall at home.-Marcus shaver
ReplyDeleteMarcus,
DeleteI really thought you did a phenomenal job on your blog. You did a very good job explaining the impossible. I agree with your meaning of the quote and how you related it to football. Awesome job this week!

ReplyDelete“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
ReplyDeleteThis quote by Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite out of the life lesson quotes that were listed. I can relate this to my life in a lot of ways actually. This quote to me means that you shouldn’t have to change for your friends or anybody for that matter because if they don’t except you for who you are they probably don’t care about you enough for you to change for them, it also means to me that you should be able to be yourself around people and if the people don’t accept how you act they aren’t even worth your time probably.
I have been through this many times in the past couple years with a lot of different people, I was told that I changed and some people liked it and others did not. At first I was kind of put down when one of my closer friends told me I wasn’t the same as I used to be so I wanted to try and change back, after a few weeks I then realized that you shouldn’t change for somebody because everybody changes eventually. If you aren’t willing to accept your friends when they do change then you either have to move on without them or adapt to their changes.
Another way this could relate to my life is some people get mad at the kind of person that I am just in general. I’m really outgoing and generally always happy. I sometimes say stuff fooling around that I may not mean but some people take offense to it. Although I should probably start trying to say more positive things so that way nobody will take things the wrong way anymore, I still believe this quote is very true and you should act how you want.

Dr. Seuss once said, “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”
ReplyDeleteThis is one of many important life lessons that Dr. Seuss can teach us. This quote can be interpreted in many different ways. I interpret it to mean that you decide where you go. You’re the only one that can do that and that you are only limited by your ability to believe in the impossible. You are the one who is in control.
I can relate this quote to my life. In past experiences, I have learned that if you really want something or want to do something, you are the only person who will keep yourself from doing what you want. You are the only person who can keep yourself from accomplishing your goals and dreams.
Since the New Year just started, I can apply this quote to my life now and in the future. One of my resolutions is to exercise, eat better, loose weight, and get in shape. I can only accomplish this if I keep myself from thinking that it is impossible for it to happen. I know that I have the brains to accomplish this too and to steer me in the right direction. Another resolution that I can relate to this quote is to do better in school. I hate school so much and I have been slacking off sort of in my homework and studying for tests and it has been affecting my grades. As long as I tell myself it is not impossible for me to improve I will be able to do better and get my grades up. I am in control of my life so it is only up to me to change what is needed. Everyone can apply this quote by Dr. Seuss in his or her life in one way or another.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
ReplyDeleteIt’s said that when a person cares about something, like truthfully and fully cares about something nothing will get in the way of that. But in the reality of life not many people truly “care” about things. They can preach it in any way, shape, or form but the real question is how can you prove it. In the end the only thing that will be proven is if you want something you can only depend on yourself.
Ever heard that saying “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” ? Anyone can interpret it in their own way but all in all the main message is that anyone is liable to make a mistake but you need to learn from it. Being dependent on someone or something is an innocent thing to do.. It can happen without even noticing. You can feel like your on top of the world at anytime and then suddenly in the blink of an eye your on the ground. When that happens it’s hard to pick yourself back up. It’s easier when you have someone there to help you through it but on rare occasions will be someone be.
I’ve made mistakes before… I’ve felt the need to change things before. Sometimes things did change and other times nothing changed. I’ve been upset with myself before especially if I don’t have good grades. This year I struggle badly with Chemistry. I started out studying hard and having a ton of motivation to have good grades, but soon after I kept doing bad I stopped trying and waited for something else to happen. The problem with that was, nothing happened. The only person that can help me is myself.
I’ve learned that you really have to want and care tremendously to get what you want. The only person who you can stop you from getting it is yourself. As long as you work through it you can do anything.
-Bridget Smith
Bridget Smith,
DeleteI think you did a great job with writing this blog. I definitely agree with your saying, to me that is a powerfull quote. You hit the nail on the head. We have all made mistakes and still will that is a part of life. I'm glad you wrote this because it is so true every bit of it.
-Nikolas Spencer
The Dr. Seuss teaches many life lessons the quote I used was “be who you are”. This really does reflect my life. Being a lone wolf out of a pack is a good thing you just can’t let others decide what you do. If people don’t accept you for who you are you can find others that will. Being an individual is what makes a person special, and just going with the flow and following what others do takes all of your originality away.
ReplyDeleteDr. Seuss really hits the nail on the head when he talks about having true friends. A true friend will accept you for who you are no matter what you do. This relates to my life in many ways, my friends would accept me no matter what, and no matter what they do I would accept them as well. This life lesson is very important to any friendship.
Another part of this great life lesson is being able to speak your mind, and not worry about what people or your friends think of it. Voicing your opinion is very important, and you shouldn’t worry about what people think of it. That’s part of being your own person as well. But you should be able to listen to others opinions too. That’s part of the understanding that comes with great friendship.
Dr. Seuss is very inspirational, and one of his great life lessons will affect you in some way. “Be who you are” is probably one of my favorite Dr. Seuss Quotes. It affects my life in friendships, and it shows a person that you can stand out and be proud of yourself. No one should ever have to worry about what others think. The only person that should control your life is you and only you.
Brock, I agree, life lesson learned.
Delete7. Your Mountain Is Waiting
ReplyDelete“Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting.
So… get on your way.”
Everyday you’re presented with a mountain. You can climb the mountain, or you can play in the valley. If you climb more than you play, you will truly be on your way.
This saying means a lot to me. The quote “Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So… get on your way.” This could have many meanings for it. I think that I relate to this the most and this is because everyday I face a new problem or a stalemate everyday that I wake up. In my opinion I have a reason to wake up every morning and that reason being is to go to school and just get it over and done with to hurry up and have my future ready for me. The song The Climb by Miley Cirus also relates to this quote because she describes that there will always be a mountain in the way that you will have to climb over; you shouldn’t take the easy way out and cut around it.
The mountain that I struggle to climb everyday is being able to lose the weight I want to lose. Every day I wake up my mind is set on what I need to do it will just be a rough climb to success. I know that someday I will stand at the top of this giant mountain that has been in my way for years, then I will climb down the other side and face another. The mountains stand for the troubles that you will have in life. They also stand for the accomplishments because if you have accomplished what has been in your way for a while than you have accomplished that mountain and BOOM! Right to the next.
Dave i really liked this quote. Facing challenges only makes you stronger, and taking the easy way out is never the answer. It is a really inspirational quote, good job bud.
DeleteBrock Martin
ReplyDeleteDr.Seuss once said “Unless someone like you cares an awful lot, nothing is going to get better”. This makes good sense to me because most of the time stuff doesn’t just come for free and by its self. You have to work for your goals. Things are what you make out of them.
Life is going to guide you but not do all the work. Someone might give you a job, but they aren’t going to do the work for you. When you play sports no one can get any where with out trying at it. Life and the things you do is what you make out of it. No one is going to just give you skill, maybe teach but never give.
If you get pushed down, you have to get back up. Nothing comes for free and no matter what, if it does its just plan luck. If you are spoiled you may get stuff for free, but were will that get you in life. If you get something for free its not the same as paying for it. You should have a lot more respect for something that you have had to work a long time to get. If you didn’t have to work for it there’s no appreciation for that object.
Over the summer I worked my butt off to get a descent car. Then traded that car for a beat up truck to make money with. When I walk out into the school parking lot and see most of the students driving almost new vehicles that don’t even work. It might be nice but at least I can look at my truck and say I worked my butt off to have it and its mine to the core. I like working hard and work for my stuff, never been spoiled, never want to be.

I like what you wrote but I would think "plan" should be "plain". :) Good job though!
Delete~Summer Murphy
I see what you’re saying Jon and I get it completely, but what I don’t like is that it is true, people are spoiled and get what they want without working for it. And that’s all I got nice job at making a good point.

Wow Jon nice. You went real deep in explaining this. I like how you said that life will lead you but not all the way. I 100 percent agree with you. You have control of your own destiny but anyway good one Johnny boy.

Dr. Seuss once said “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the life lessons that have been taught by Dr. Seuss. I have always liked this quote because it would have always related to me one way or another. I interpret this quote to the idea that no matter what happens you should always be yourself, especially around friends and family. If you can’t be yourself because you are being judged then it most likely means that those people that are judging you don’t matter.
I relate to this quote most of the time because I have learned to not care what people think about me, thanks to the help of my very good friend Kaitlyn Wingerter. Once, I used to care what people thought but now they don’t matter to me because I have found better friends that don’t judge me for who I am. I learned to let go of the people that don’t matter simply because they don’t matter and what they have to say doesn’t phase me.
The one person that has always helped me realize the meaning of this quote is my mom. She always taught me to not care what people had to say because there’s many other people out there who will care and matter much more than the people that don’t matter. It’s all about making the right decisions on who decide to be friends with. I do what I want, when I want, with whoever I want. I usually tend to say what’s on my mind which gets me into trouble but I learned to not care.
No matter what people think or say about me I tend to not care anymore. It’s better to not care what people think than to care about what people say.

Brock I agree with you and your quote 100% you can't let others determine how you live you life. I like ware you said being a lone wolf is a good thing you can teach your self something if you’re a lone wolf instead of learning from someone else if you teach your self your better off in life. ReplyDeleteKaitlyn, I like the quote that you picked becuase I completely agree with it. I also picked this quote and had a lot of similar things to say about it. I'm glad you don't think what people think about you because if you did, life wouldn't be as fun. Nice work, keep it up!

Natalia, I like the quote you chose. I also chose that quote and it really relates to our lives in many ways. I like how you mentioned that you don't care what people think about you anymore, I am glad I rubbed off on you and now know that as long as you're happy you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks of you.It was also very sweet of you to add you mom in and how she helps you get through stuff. Good job!

Jason you did a great job on this blog. I agree with your opinion about quote four. I agree because things wont change if two people don't care equally. This was a good choice and is something that you can live by.
